Khalilah is a nutritional educator, therapeutic yoga teacher and post-partum doula. Of mixed Pakistani and western European ancestry, Khalilah was born and raised on unceded Coast Salish territories. She is grateful to currently live, learn and build community on the homelands of the Lkwungen and W̱SÁNEĆ peoples. Through her business Belly & Heart, Khalilah provides nutritional education, consultation and meal support throughout pregnancy and in the postpartum period to nourish birthing parents and their families. This includes her hands-on practical nutrition cooking classes for expecting parents and their support teams. Khalilah’s doula practice focuses primarily on providing postpartum support to clients. Her work is grounded in her commitment to anti-racism, community self-care, and collective mutual aid as well as her desire to provide quality health care and useful support to queer and gender diverse individuals and families.
