The Nesting Doula Collective is a worker's co-operative that is democratically operated by Doulas from across Canada. Our collective consists of Doulas who speak multiple languages, may have their own migration histories, identify as Indigenous, Black and/or as a person of colour, and provide care for our clients that is culturally affirming and rooted in radical consent.
There are two ways to join the Nesting Doula Collective. If you are already trained as a Doula, you can join by purchasing a $150 share in the worker's co-operative. If you are looking for Doula training, you can register for our in-house training and upon completion you can join by purchasing a $100 share in the worker's co-operative.
As a part of the collective, you will get to work with diverse communities, you will become connected to a skilled network of Doulas who provide a range of support including prenatal, birth, postpartum, abortion, and miscarriage. You will also benefit from monthly collective meetings to share resources, best practices, and celebrate the work that we get to do.
